Over the Christmas break (that some people get) I’ll be working on updating a bunch of stuff on the website. A new, easier to read theme, new store software, plug-ins and some other fixes that have been needed. This will cause some downtime but I hope to spread it out so there is not too much at any given time. Then the bug hunt starts. If you see bugs, bad links or just something that looks like crap, please let me know.
I have high hopes for the site in 2019. My book should come out sometime in January (yes, its a day to day labor history book) and I will soon start working on another with your help. Stay tuned for the survey on how you can help. I have a few other ideas I’m working on too. Unfortunately, the PodCast I had hoped to start this year is just not possible with all the travel I do now. I drive over 5 hours a day 3 to 5 days a week and that really bites into my time. But I’m still planning on doing some big things with the blog. I have a goal of over 500 visitors a day in the new year, and with your help, the site will reach that and more.
So stay tuned, and if you can, push the PayPal button to the right and help out. The theme, plugins and hosting cost a good deal of money. Your donation, or purchase of a book or shirt will help keep things going for years to come.
